How to set up POP3 account in Apple machine for CorpEase C2 server? |

Remarks: This document was written for Mail software(Version 2.1.3 (753.1) in Mac OS X Version 10.4.11. The information herein may (or may not) apply to other versions of Mail.
1. First, open Mail. Choose Create New Account .
2. Click Continue . The picture below will display. Select POP as Account Type .
3. Click Continue . The picture below will display. In Incoming Mail Server field, input pop.c2.corpease.net .
4. Click Continue . In Outgoing Mail Server field, input smtp.c2.corpease.net . And select User Authentication .
5. Click Continue . You will see “Checking connection to SMTP server smtp.c2.corpease.net”.
6. After the Authentication procedure is done, your account information will come up:
7. Click Continue . The system will come up with the information below.
8. Click Done . Now the account is set up. Start the software the system will display a Welcome pop up window.
9. Click No . And now you can send and receive e-mail through your account.
10. On the Mail menu, click General tab, and you will see the picture below. It shows how frequently the software checks for the new mail. (The default setting is Every 5 minutes ) 11. Click Accounts tab, the picture below will come up:
12. Click Server settings button in the accounts panel. The picture below will come up.
13. Click Mailbox Behaviors tab. You will see the information “(Erase copies of sent messages when:) ”.
14. Click Advanced tab. You should select the first two check boxes as following picture shows.
15. Click Junk Mail tab. You will see the configurations referring to the spam. You can select the options up to your needs.
16. Click Fonts&Colors tab. You can modify the font and size.
17. Click Viewing tab, and you will see the below panel.
18. Click Composing tab. You can personalize your composing panel by setting these options.
19. Click Composing tab. You can add a signature block to the end of the message.
20. Click Rules tab. You can add different rules in order to manage the emails into different category according to the rules.
21. The account is set up successfully after all the options have been set.
